As the Network Engineering Manager, you will lead and oversee our network engineering team, ensuring the efficient design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure. This role involves managing technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving excellence in network services.



  1. Team Leadership and Supervision:
    • Lead a team of network engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Define roles, set performance expectations, and facilitate effective communication within the team.
  2. Network/Server Infrastructure Management:
    • Plan, design, and implement network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
    • Plan, design, and implement devices to support individual business needs, including servers, databases, phone systems, etc.
    • Ensure network security, scalability, and high availability.
    • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network configurations.
  3. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Assist with managing network projects from inception to completion.
    • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives.
  4. Vendor and Partner Relationships:
    • Work closely with network equipment vendors and service providers.
    • Evaluate and select network hardware, software, and tools to support the customers networks as well as install within a customer’s network.
    • Negotiate contracts and maintain positive relationships.
  5. Technical Expertise and Strategy:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
    • Define network architecture best practices and long-term strategies.
    • Coordinate and implement projects related to existing customer network upgrades and enhancements.
  6. Client Engagement:
    • Understand client requirements and tailor network solutions accordingly.
    • Provide technical guidance during pre-sales discussions.
    • Ensure client satisfaction through reliable network services.


  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field or 5+ years’ experience in related field.
  • A+, Security+, Network+, MCSE certifications preferred.
  • Cisco certifications including CCNA, CCNE, CCDA are a plus.
  • Palo Alto certification including PCNSA, PSNSE are a plus.


  • Experience with networking techniques is required.
  • Experience directly with Cisco and/or HP networking equipment is desired.
  • Experience with SonicWall, Palo Alto, Ubiquiti networking equipment is preferred.
  • Experience with networking including IP Addressing/Subnetting, VLANS, Port Aggregation, DNS, DHCP, RDP, LDAP, is required.
  • Experience with virtualization techniques including VMware and Hyper-V is required.
  • Ability to support and troubleshoot server-based software issues with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Office 365 and hosted Microsoft Office 365, Hyper -V and VMWare, Microsoft PowerShell, major anti-virus solutions, and enterprise class backup solutions.
  • Experience with DUO is preferred.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving workstation-based software issues with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office 2013 and 2016, Microsoft Online Services, including Office 365, and domain and workgroup environments.
  • Ability to travel the Northeastern US as needed.
